What You Need to Know About Contractors Insurance

It is a necessity for any business undergoing construction or renovation to purchase a contractors insurance in order to safeguard their financial stability, as well as their workers' wellbeing. It's not in favor of the business' interest to leave it susceptible to financial drains, in case of management, materials, and manpower problems. There are certainly a lot of risk factors present in a construction site, and all of these could very well hurt a business, if not properly dealt with. Sure, the contractor may be held liable for some of the issues, but most of the losses will be incurred by the property owner. Besides, majority of the states in the U.S. demand that they are secured, before a project license is granted.

Contractors insurance basically covers losses due to lightning, vandalism, fire, lawsuits, injury, and other property damages that are not caused by professional errors or intentional acts. But there are certain policies that do not indemnify against earthquakes, acts of violence, and flooding. The safest plan that you can apply for is a general liability contractor insurance, since it typically takes care of all of the basic concerns, when it comes to this type of activity. Usually, it is the building owner's responsibility to acquire a builder's risk insurance, and ascertain its scope. But, the general contractor can also be tasked to buy it, as stipulated in the contract. It is important to note that this type of property insurance is only valid during the construction period, and is terminated upon the project's completion.

To ensure that you are getting the best policy, it is advisable that you shop around for options, before you settle with a provider. Submit your contracts for quotes if you are a contractor, and negotiate the rate of your policy if you are the business owner. This should help you arrive at a manageable monthly payment term that addresses your construction needs, as well as your monetary limitations.

Next, you should assess the supplementary general condition of your general liability contractor insurance, so that you know who are covered. There are a number of other people who may enter a job site, aside from the builders. You can expect messengers, trespassers, the licensees, and some invitees to come along every once in a while, so they must also be added as insured. To reduce liability exposure, as a contractor, what you can do is determine regulations within the job site, arrange an agreement with the client, and try to be hands-on with any visitation, to pre-empt any potential accidents from happening. It would also be smart to keep the site as hazard free as possible, by disposing all of the materials carefully.

Lastly, never hesitate to use a broker specializing in contractor insurance. This should make the policy application less burdensome. A business owner and contractor would find a broker's meticulous eye for detail and expansive network very helpful, especially for stringent projects. Obviously, you both can't dedicate the right amount of time to go over each unique policy and draw up proposals. A broker will help you accomplish that, and set you up with the right provider or providers as soon as possible.

2 Resell Rights Products Techniques For Rookies

In the resell rights business online, there's a lot of opportunity here. It gives you an instant business that you can start seeing income from in a short period of time. One reason I like resell right products is for backend marketing. What is "backend marketing"? Backend marketing is the process of selling to your current and existing customers.

Without selling to "backend" customers, you have no business. This is where 80% of your total profits will come from. This means if you're currently focusing 95% of your time to getting brand new customers... you're totally missing the point. The "point" is that you should be spending 90% of your time earning recurring income from the people who know you, like you, and trust you the most.

Even though it's a virtually immediate online business that you can enter into, it doesn't mean that you can go "easy" with your marketing efforts. Yes, you will earn 100% profits of each sale, but if you're not selling and promoting your resell rights products in the right way, you're missing out on a ton profits that could be potentially yours.

If you currently have a resell rights product, but don't know how to sell them online, this is what today's lesson will help you to do. I want to share with you a few tips that I've learned over the last couple of years, and they can certainly work for you and your resell rights business also. Here's the first tip for selling them successfully:

1) Get lots of traffic

Without a lot of traffic, it's going to tough to make money with resell rights products. Luckily, there are a wide variety of ways to get traffic, and you have an incredible amount of options at your disposal. You can either do free marketing or paid advertising. Both can work for you.

If you're thinking about doing free marketing, you have a plethora of options. You can do YouTube marketing, forum marketing, article marketing, article syndication, ebook marketing, blogging, podcasting, SEO (search engine optimization), and more. The world is yours if you can persevere and come up with an elaborate (but effective) traffic strategy that can boost your sales immediately. Here's another tip:

2) Modify the sales letter

A lot of the resell rights products that you get will have "average" sales letters - in terms of quality. You will want to edit them and add a better headline, more bullet points that explain what someone will be learning inside of your product, and the close. The close and the "P.S." section of your sales letter is important.

If you know nothing about writing sales letters, you can hire someone online for cheap to do it for you. These sales letter writers typically don't cost much. But if you want to make the sales letter yourself, you will want to get your hands on something called a "swipe file". This is simply a collection of winning ads and sales letters that you can emulate and write your own original sales letter from.

These 2 tips for selling resell rights products are essential to your success. The more you work on them both, the higher the chances are of you earning money with your product.

Good luck with selling your resell rights product.

Planning Phase For an E-Commerce Website

The Planning Phase is the most important phase in building an online sales funnel, and it is often the most overlooked. I'll give you an overview of the strategies and tactics that will set the foundation for all of your online marketing efforts.

Beware! This section is going to seem a bit odd at first. Why? Because most web design firms and marketing agencies are missing many of these elements. But if it's missing, how do I know it works?

Many of the top online marketers are using these strategies and tactics to generate millions dollars in revenue in the following niches:

Weight loss. Business opportunities. Personal development. Dating/Relationships.

In my consulting practice, I have used these strategies and tactics to create millions of dollars in sales. And you should try it!

Understand Why We Build Websites

Most people build websites that I characterize as brochure sites. They talk about their products, services, and about themselves. And guess what? Brochure websites don't pay my bills, so I don't recommend them to my clients.

Effective websites are built for customers and tell your customers, What you have for your customers in it?"

Action Step: Write down who your website is targeted for and what's in it for them.

Automation & Outsourcing

Why is automation and outsourcing critical for online lead gen? Automation and outsourcing eliminates follow-up failure, the major pitfall of small business lead gen.

In section 3, Traffic, I discuss how content creation is critical to drive both SEO and social media traffic. I always recommend that my clients either hire a copywriter or freelance copywriter for their blog articles. Despite my recommendation, most of my clients decide to produce their own blog copy of which 95% of them, fail to write effectively.

Action Step: Take a piece of paper and brainstorm weaknesses and areas where you are understaffed that can be automated and outsourced... so you can eliminate follow-up failure!

Define Your Conversion

In setting up a website for e-commerce, your conversion goal is always a sale. Everything on your website should lead the prospective customer to your conversion goal.

Action Step: Define your conversion goal.

The Importance of List Building List building is the single most important part of e-commerce. Having a list allows us to maximize repeat sales with the same customer, thus increasing the lifetime value of the customer.

The easiest way to build a list is with an ESP (email service provider). There are many to choose from, so refer to the resources section for specific recommendations. Action Step: Select an email service provider.

Create Your Avatar

In order for you to understand your ideal customer, you must create an avatar. An avatar is a representation of your ideal customer. The avatar will include the following elements:

Gender. Age. Income. Likes and dislikes. Job. Pain. Fears and frustration Goals and dreams. How does your product/service eliminate pain or provide future benefit.

Your avatar will become the lens in which your review all of your marketing efforts. If it doesn't work for your avatar, it doesn't belong.

Action Step: Map out your avatar.

Determine Your Color Scheme

"Colors have deep subliminal meanings that affect our thinking and rational. Usually colors have different symbolic meanings that vary according to the culture and countries. So, keep in mind that the color planning is also every important for your business.

In short, you want to match the color of your site with the solution that your avatar is looking for. For example, if your customer is looking for stability and trust, then blue is a good color. Green is often associated with health. While red is associated with strength, vitality and sex.

Action Step: Determine your color scheme.

Map Out Your Mental Triggers

Direct marketers, like Joseph Sugarman (who wrote the above text); were the first to discover that mental triggers could increase conversion rates. Some of my favorite triggers that need to be woven into your lead generation copy include:

Stories. Events. Community. Social proof. Scarcity. Authority. Common enemy. Proof. Reciprocity. Specificity.

Action Step: Brainstorm which mental triggers would be relevant to your avatar.

Map 0ut Your Offer

Your prospects will not give you their information just because you want it! You need to offer them something.

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. What are you going to give them? A free report, a whitepaper, or a webinar? 2. How are they going to get it? 3. Are you going to offer a front-end bonus or surprise bonuses? 4. Guarantee. 5. Terms and price.

On a side note, make sure that you include a privacy statement with your offer, as people are always concerned about their private information.

Action Step: Get your team together and map out your offer.

Decoy Pricing

Decoys are price points that a business doesn't really want you to take. It is a great way to move people to a higher price point.

Economist Dan Arely, author of "Predictably Irrational" gives the following example of a decoy pricing model from the Economist:

Action Step: Determine whether decoy pricing would be good for your offer.

Good, Better, Best Pricing

Another pricing model you should be aware of is "Good, Better, Best" pricing. An example of this pricing model is shown above.

There are many recent studies about the buying habits of consumer show that the majority of customers will choose the middle-priced option.

Always offer three choices. Studies, according to Bryant, show that when two choices were offered, 50% of customers chose the lower-priced option. When three choices were offered, 57% chose the middle option. Customers always look for the choices.

Can We Trust Voting Machines - No, Not Any More Than We Can Trust Political Campaigns

Will there be voter fraud in the November 6, 2012 election? Well, of course there will be, somewhere, there always is. Further, with all the states and their early voting the chances are 100% that some voter fraud has already occurred. The question is; can it continue undetected? Hard to say, but this is something that most all Americans I know believe is; unacceptable. Okay let's talk shall we?

Not only is their absentee voter fraud, but there is also the high likelihood that there is also voting machine fraud as well. In other words, sneaky little programs which miss-tally the vote. No, I didn't say this was funny, in fact, it's pretty serious isn't it? Physorg (dot com) posted an article on November 3, 2012 titled; "Voting machines remain worry in US election," by Rob Lever which stated;

"12-years ago after the FL punch card debacle in which 1000s of votes went uncounted, some experts cite similar concerns about voting technology. I'm not sure we've made forward progress since 2000. We've put a tremendous effort into changing the voting systems, but in many cases we've discarded systems too quickly and replaced them with systems that we haven't examined enough."

The article also recommends reading the new book out in 2012 called; "Broken Ballots" if you really are concerned about this topic and would like to learn more; I am concerned. Over the years, I've personally read a couple of books on this subject, and countless articles discussing the tricks of the trade and how these machines are abused. If we get voter fraud in a swing state like FL, PA, OH, or AZ this could be more than serious, as it will change the entire election, our entire country, and therefore the free world too.

We can't know yet in hindsight if that will be good or bad, but we all inherently know it simply isn't right. Unfortunately, the trust of the Obama Administration is at an all-time low, the trust of the Congress is even worse, and it seems our citizens can no longer trust our government as a whole. We don't know if they are telling us the truth about the budget talks, Benghazi Libya embassy attacks, or even if either candidate's plans for the future are legit. See the problem? And if we can't trust the voting or the government then we have a problem in our civilization and society which can't be fixed by any election. Please consider all this and think on it.

Composting For All - Book Review

Nicki Scott released the second edition of Composting For All in 2004; obviously this is a popular publication within the UK, and it is certainly affordable. Here is one booklet that practices what it preaches - the cover is printed on 80% recycled material and the inside pages are printed on 100% recycled paper. I thought the front cover's image of mom, dad and young girl happily tending to a compost bin near their bountiful garden and lush yard was quite cute.

Thirty-two pages and seventeen chapters (including the introduction and resource sections) are filled with sketches and illustrations by Bob Gale. This short booklet explains what composting involves in a simple way and terms like vermiculture and aerobic bacteria become less confusing. Learn how to begin composting safely wit little hassle. Discover old and new composting methods from hot and cold composts, fermentation methods and vermiculture. He even discusses compost activators (those that increase decomposition process) and how to reuse an old chest freezer to make a worm bin. The booklet closes with a very small reference section for readers to contact eleven associations and publications to further their journey in waste reduction.

I enjoyed his discussion about the amazing array of life forms are supported by composting activities, and the final product that encourages healthier green spaces, gardens, balcony and roof gardens and flowerboxes in our communities. This results in a wonderful bio-support system to help the other critters that share our world, and healthy plants that clean our air.

The suggestion that most appealed to me was substituting leaf compost for peat requirements in our gardens. I had no idea that many commercially bagged compost actually contain peat. Environmentalists will tell you how important it is to avoid using peat-based products, and alternatives such as ground coconut husk have been around for some time.

Cities concerned with stressed landfills offer compost bins or worm bins to help people handle organic waste. Unfortunately the training available for citizens to use is not always readily available. This is what makes books like these so valuable to our society.

Nicki Scott has authored two booklets, one book and a video on composting and other methods we can all employ reduce waste. He has served as the chairperson for the Community Compost Network in the UK.

Comparison Shopping for Self Employment Insurance Policies

Every business enterprise requires insurance coverage, be it for the commodities available, business assets or the task-force. When you go into operating your own business, you require the self-employment insurance cover. This type of cover is crucial, with the financial insecurities that are there for owning a business. The cover has many options in terms of policies, prices and processes.

As a business owner, you must consider your budget when buying the policies. It is prudent to select a policy within budget limits. This is because different policies have different costs, and some may be too expensive to maintain payment of premiums for the duration of the policy. Also consider your needs. Figure out what aspect needs coverage, be it college education, mortgage, medical care or death benefits such as funeral expenses. Take the policy that covers that or those needs.

Finding the right insurance for the self-employed can be tricky. Agents come in to aid in this task. These are experts in the insurance trade and their input is invaluable. They, especially, offer a short-term insurance of one month to one year. These terms are ideal for starting businesses that are on tight budgets.

Comparison shopping is the ideal method of choosing the best suited self-employed cover. With the advent of internet technology, you need not move from one insurance company to another, making comparisons. There are numerous online insurance companies that avail application services. you can conveniently compare various quotations or find insurance agents to assist you, without breaking a sweat. There is even leading-edge software that collects the various quotes in the entire insurance industry in seconds.

The price options of the policies and their benefits vary widely. There are policies worth hundreds of thousands in cash value, at negligible daily premiums. There are also policies worth relatively less, for less premium rates. You find these variations only by shopping around and comparing different quotations and offers.

With the comparison shopping too, you can come across different cover options that best serve your needs. There are medical care options like HMO and PPO insurance. These two policies use co-pays. You are required to pay a set amount for each visit to a doctor. They have restrictions on the doctors you can see, but PPO has a larger limit than HMO. They also require that you have a referral to see a specialist.

There is fee-for-service coverage whereby you pay a percentage and the insurance company pays the rest for each visit to a doctor. You may even pay as little as 20 per cent. However, this does not use co-pays. You must meet yearly deductibles before the insurance company makes any payments. The importance of comparison shopping is that it gives you the most favorable deals.

Self-employment insurance cover is paramount for a self-employed person as it protects them and their businesses from lawsuits by covering expenses of any claims. They cover the policyholder's health too. All in all, an unbiased comparison insurance shopping gives you the full value of your money, plus benefits.

Marriage and Relationships - 6 Creative Ways to Reconnect With Your Spouse

Do you know how many couples in marriages drift apart over time and eventually have nothing in common? Consistently spending quality time together is one of the best ways to stay in touch with your spouse. Many couples are so busy with work and raising a family that they have trouble finding time for each other and their relationship suffers.

With all of the responsibilities in life, how do you carve time out of your schedule for your mate? Here are six creative ways to connect with your spouse:

1. Turn Off the Television

The time you spend watching television is not quality time spent interacting and getting to know your mate intimately. Instead of experiencing reality T.V., experience a real relationship.

2. Schedule a Regular Date Night

A date night does not have to be expensive or elaborate. The most important thing is being with each other and sharing your life, hopes and dreams.

3. Work on Mutual Projects or Hobbies Together

You bond with each other while working together on a hobby or mutual project. It also helps you to continue to have common interests and goals.

4. Exercise Together

Your heart gets two work-outs at once: one physical and one emotional.

5. Meet for a Lunch Date

If your evening schedule is too hectic for one-on-one time, schedule to get together at lunch.

6. Prioritize

It all boils down to your priorities. Everyone has the same twenty-four hours in a day. You will make time for the things that are the most important to you.

Buying Boat Insurance

How you insure your boat depends on how big the boat is, what you do with it, and where you live. Boat insurance generally is more complex than home or car insurance due to the specialized coverage required by marine-related risks.

What Kind Of Boat Are You Insuring?

The first question is how big is your boat? Generally boats are considered to be 26' and smaller, while yachts are 27' and larger. Here I will discuss smaller boats; my next article will cover yacht insurance in depth. Next question: How do you use your boat? Do you stick to boating in lakes and streams or cruise coastal waters? Do you usually go by yourself or take a crowd with you? Do you mostly fish or mostly party? And how do you store your boat when it's not in use? Do you trailer it and dry-store it, or leave it in the water?

Unless you are just insuring a canoe or rowboat, steer clear of no-frills boat policies that some insurance agents add to your existing auto or homeowner's policy. The policy may be cheaper, but you probably will regret it if you ever have to make a claim.

Which Type Of Coverage Should I Get?

Boat insurance includes two broad categories of coverage:

•Liability Coverage - Covers costs owed to third parties (people besides you or your immediate family) for injury, loss of life, or property damage. It also covers legal costs arising from defending an accident-related lawsuit. •Physical Damage Coverage - Covers costs of damage to the boat itself and its equipment. Some polices may limit certain payments, such as for damages related to weather or vandalism. The physical damage coverage comes in two flavors: •Agreed Value - (Also called Stated Value.) Pays the limit stated on the policy when the boat is deemed to be a total loss. These policies offer more protection and therefore cost more. Some lenders may require you to carry this coverage, so check with them. •Actual Cash Value -- Pays the current market (depreciated) value of the boat when the boat is deemed to be a total loss. Besides the settlement amount (when the boat is a total loss), it is best to carry an 'All Risk' policy (when the boat is damaged but not totaled). All Risk policies cover losses except those specifically excluded, such as normal wear and tear, surface scratching, manufacturer's defects, and ice and freezing. As with auto insurance, boat insurance includes standard coverages and deductibles. The following are common: • Medical payments -- no deductible, $1,000 limit • Personal effects -- $250 deductible, $500 limit • Uninsured boaters liability -- no deductible, $10,000 to $300,000 limit • Towing and assistance -- no deductible, $500 limit • Fishing equipment -- $250 deductible, $1,000 limit

Suppose you do not use your boat during part of the year and have it in dry storage when it's not in use. You may qualify for a 'lay-up' discount. This gives you year-round coverage with a discount for the months your boat is unused.

Why Discovery Is the Most Important Part of the Business Web Design Process

These are all decent answers, but as a professional marketing agency, we know better. That's because the real magic happens during the discovery process.

What is the discovery process?

Simply enough, it's the point where we ask enough questions to properly understand the business challenges our clients are facing, and have a sense of the problems they want to fix or opportunities they want to take advantage of. Sometimes, this can take longer than people expect, but believe us when we tell you that it's well worth the effort.

Here are a few reasons why, and what you can do to make the most of the discovery process with your business web design team:

Discovery means looking closely at your business.

Before we look at a single pixel, we want to know who you are as a company, where you fit into the market, and where your competitive advantages lie. Do you win customers because of your prices, or are you known for service and long-lasting value? Are you an older, more-established business, or one that's new to the industry? Understanding these issues is one of the keys to successful web design.

It's not just about you, though.

While "knowing yourself" is an important first step, it's critical that your business web design team also understand what your customers are like, too, not to mention your competitors. After all, they need to design pages that appeal to the former and make you stand out from the latter if you're going to see a good return on investment from the project.

Discovery leads to a plan.

Too many clients want to jump straight into the process of designing a new website, or envisioning an online marketing plan. Their enthusiasm is understandable, but it can quickly lead to the wrong direction or conclusions. If your marketing plan comes first, or if you go too quickly through the discovery process, then you and your creative team won't really know enough to get the best results.

It's important to work with a web design team who understands this step.

The key thing to understand is that your next business website has to be right for your business, not just something that looks professionally designed. A business web design and development team that doesn't understand that isn't one you should trust with your money - or the future of your company.

Want to work with a business web design team that gets to know your company as well as we know layouts and coding software? If so, call or e-mail us to set up a free consultation today.

Chlorine Gas Tanks at Sewer Plants Need Upgrades to Protect From International Terrorism

Many sewer treatment plants have huge chlorine Tanks on their properties. These tanks contain large amounts of Chlorine Gas. These tanks should have barriers around them to prevent a truck from driving into them, as series of ditches and berms as part of the landscape is a good start. But also double walled tanks like on Oil Tanker ships.

Should we add protective coatings, which contain chemical membranes which can attach the escaping gas between the walls. So an explosive device would cause the membrane to heat up and other gases could combine with the Chlorine Gas to prevent problems. Many POTWs do not use much Chlorine Gas which means that such huge tanks are not on the property. A huge Earthquake or attack could cause the escaping gas to flow with the relative winds into populated areas. We need these upgrades. As we know that International Terrorists like to use the infrastructure against us.

Normally the inlets and valves have automatic shut offs and warnings alarm to protect workers to get out of the way, but trying to get a whole city to evacuate quickly may not be possible.

We should continue to improve our infrastructures to be mother nature proof and nearly impossible to be used against us in the event of an International Attack.

A lot has been done to make these things fool proof, perhaps we might raise the bar a couple of more levels. The wonderful work of our engineers and the upgrades made to these facilities has propelled the United States to have some of the cleanest water ways in the world. We have prevented diseases, helped wildlife and are so cutting edge, we ought to be proud. Now there is an elevated threat, so we need to pay attention and continue to innovate. Perhaps the Chlorine Gas can be replaced with other means as we upgrade the facilities as needed. We need to pay attention to new technologies in the Publically Owned Treatment Works Industry.

The Industry has done so much and many facilities are International Terrorist proof thus eliminating them from contention, but not all are. We might wish to expedite these upgrades as needed.

The Importance For Online Marketers To Build An Email List

Why do online marketers say, "The money is in the list"? Why do they think the best way to market a product or service is definitely in reaching a large number of people on the internet? And what are the easiest and best ways to build an email list that will be profitable.

Your splash or capture page is the first item that is seen by the viewer when they click on your ad or visit your website or read this article and want to seek more. The page should be clear and present information in a friendly way that represents your targeted keywords because that is what is being searched. Now that you have the site visitor interested in what you have to offer, and has joined your group, you will then be able to continue to market that person with other information. That success will help you build an email list.

Before advertising it is very important to choose a company that offers you a way to auto-respond to your new found friends. You will want to welcome and keep in touch with this group in a professional way. Be sure and create a web opt-in form to capture these names. Being available for assistance either through email or telephone is vital to your success.

There are many techniques in use on the internet for finding names and it probably will take several of these to build an expansive data base. You can always buy names but that is a tricky proposition as it is not always easy to determine which ones are credible and will accept your email broadcast/newsletter and not bounce right back to you! Advertising on free sights can be productive but it takes longer to gather seekers in a timely fashion. Paying a little for advertising appears to be an outstanding way to build an email list. Pay per click or PPC can be accomplished through several online sites and if you are careful and monitor your progress it should not have to cost more than 5 or 10 cents per click. As you pay only when the seeker clicks on your ad. Investigate the possibilities suggested and start to build an email list now and you will become a successful online marketer.

Investigate the possibilities suggested and approach them in a creative way for successfully adding names to your data base. Remember that the money is definitely in the list and you will become a successful online marketer if you can email to thousands of people on the internet.

Premium Only Plans As a Strategy to Cope With Unnecessary Rising Healthcare Premiums

There is, it is sad to say, an increasingly prominent issue regarding employer sponsored health insurance that is matched in its severity as a national problem only by the consistency with which it is overlooked. The 113% rise in healthcare premiums over the last ten years, the increasing legislative mandates on healthcare providers and employers sponsoring benefits, and the ever rising percentage of employed individuals unable to access or afford coverage has evolved into a self-propagating cyclone of economic crisis. As knee-jerk legislative policies heap policy requirements on insurance providers and providers raise premiums in response, employers will have to turn to IRS provided strategies like the section 125 premium only plan in order to manage the costs associated with providing sponsored benefits.

The Consumers Union, a nonprofit organization devoted to thorough and accurate surveys of market related consistencies and developments, conducted a survey on several healthcare providers whose results revealed one of the major symptoms of our self-propagating issue. As the ACHA's effect on healthcare prices are still, for the most part, unknown, health insurance providers nationwide have been stockpiling massive amounts of surplus revenue while continuing to raise the cost of healthcare premiums.

It should be understood that insurers maintaining a foundation of surplus capital is not only common, but almost universally required. State legislation procures mandatory minimum surplus amounts insurers are required to maintain in order to ensure they can continue to cover client expenses in the event of a major emergency. The issue, according to the Consumers Union, is that many insurance providers are maintaining a surplus capital that far out stands their minimum requirements; capital that could very well be used otherwise to lower the cost of national insurance premiums.

However difficult as it is bear their justifications legitimate attention (as our ability to access affordable healthcare dwindles in contrast to their growing surplus funds), some insurance providers have good cause for their massive surplus. The Affordable Health Care Act has and will continue to have major effects on the United States economy. Those effects will directly impact the price of healthcare, which correlates into a shift in the pressures placed on healthcare providers. Without a strong foundation of surplus funds, insurance providers might very well find themselves unable to cover the costs of medical bills and inevitably out of business.

On the employer end, the IRS section 125 premium only plan is one of the tools available for managing the effect this circulating issue has on their finances. As insurance providers maintain their surplus funds and premium prices rocket, employers can use POP plans to negate the rising costs by allowing their employees to apply their premium contributions with tax-free dollars. While using a premium only plan, employers can deduct employee premium contributions before regular state and Federal taxes are withdrawn. This process dramatically increases employee take-home pay ($100-$300) per month and can reduce the price of sponsored health care by up to 40%; employees can better afford their health insurance and employers, free from matching the FICA taxes otherwise applied to employee contributions, save 7.65% annually.

Employers interested in compensating for the rising premium prices through the premium only plan strategy should consider Taxfreepremiums as they work through the process of subscription. Taxfreepremiums provides optimum POP plan services, handling initial filing, automatic compliance updates, and providing free nondiscrimination testing software with every plan purchase. EPub Conversion and EPub Creation Services Help Publishers Access New Streams of Revenue

Amazon is the biggest book seller in the world. Since the last two years, Amazon has been selling more eBooks than paper books. The unexpected success and popularity of Amazon Kindle and the growing demand for eBooks has changed the way publishers think. The cost of creating digital books is lower than the cost of producing printed books, and the more digital books one sells, the lower the cost of production per book is. As it is a relatively recent development, there aren't many companies that offer ePub creation, eBook conversion and formatting service.

Publishers and writers all over the world now have an option of selling books to millions of readers who use their Kindles, tablet PCs and smartphones to read books. Digital books come in different formats; ePub is the standard format. Readers using Mac, iPhone, iPad, Sony reader, Nook, Kindle, and Android tablets can easily read ePubs on their devices.

Today, there are billions of smartphones, tablet devices and eBook readers in the market. The physical nature of the printed book is a barrier that stops the book from reaching a worldwide audience. On the other hand, an ePub book is distributed electronically; so, nothing stops you from selling books to people living in different countries. For instance, if you wanted to sell a few copies of a paper book to people living on different continents, the transportation costs would be a lot higher than the cost of the book. However, you can easily send the ePubs through the Internet without spending a single cent.

The advent of digital books is a blessing for publishers and writers. Through ePub creation, ePub conversion and formatting services, the writers and publishers can get access to new streams of revenue. The best part is that eBooks are a lot more fun to read than printed books. While there are a few people out there who refuse to read eBooks and insist on buying paper books, there are hundreds of millions of people who'd never think of buying a book, but who are happy to download digital books on their devices!

Also, eBooks offer a lot more to the readers than printed books. It is possible to add animations, sound effects and several other special features to the eBooks. Also, most eBook readers are equipped with a decent dictionary; this ensures that the readers do not have to close the eBook to find meanings. All they need to do is bring the cursor to the unknown word; the meaning pops up on its own!

A reputed ePub creation, eBook conversion and formatting service provider can help you to convert your printed books, submit them to the right place and market them online. For publishers who already have thousands of printed books, the cost of converting all those books may be rather high. But you can always enter a partnership with the ePub conversion company; you don't have to pay for the services; instead, the service providers will settle for some part of royalty from the sales of your digital books.

Or, you could simply pay a flat fee per book. This is the sensible option for writers who want complete rights to their eBooks, or for publishers who intend to convert just a few of their paper books to eBooks. The conversion of an eBook doesn't take too long, it doesn't cost too much, and it can give greater exposure to your book. Needless to say, you also have the chance to make a lot of money through online sales.

Common Questions About Facebook Ad Disapprovals

The first step to having a successful Facebook ad campaign is getting your ads approved.

The processes of creating, designing, and tracking your ads are all within your control. But when you submit that ad for approval, it's out of your hands.

We get asked a lot of questions about ad disapprovals, so while it's maybe not the most interesting topic, we know it's an important one.

Here are a few of the most common questions we get asked about disapprovals!

What do I do if my Facebook ad isn't approved?

If your ad is disapproved, you should have received a reason from the Facebook Ads team. This will obviously be a good indication of what went wrong and what you need to change.

You will most likely see an "edit" button on your ad, so you can feel free to fix up your ad and resubmit it for approval.

If you don't see the "edit" button, the Facebook Ads team has decided the ad is far from meeting Facebook ads guidelines and you'll need to create an entirely new ad.

Should I ever try resubmitting a disapproved ad?

Absolutely. If you're confident your ad isn't breaking any rules, there's no harm in resubmitting your ad, un-edited, for approval (unless you're in a real hurry to get it approved).

I'd suggest submitting at a different time and/or on a different day. The approval process is a subjective one, so having another Facebook Ads team member review your ad may mean it still ends up getting approved.

Do I still get charged if my ad is disapproved?

No. If your ad is disapproved, there will be no impressions served (and obviously no clicks) so you will not be charged.

My ad was disapproved because it's promoting "prohibited content". What does this mean?

There are a number of products and services that are deemed "prohibited content" by Facebook. If you're promoting one of the following, your ad will get disapproved:

Tobacco products Weapons Racially or religiously inflammatory content Surveillance equipment Counterfeit goods Fake documents Pornography

There are also a number of products and services that are more in the "grey" area. Don't be surprised if you try to advertise one of the following and get disapproved.

(That doesn't mean that if you're advertising one of them, they'll never get approved. You might just need to tweak your ad or try resubmitting):

Adult products Alcohol Dating sites Gambling or lotteries Dietary supplements Subscription services Multilevel marketing schemes Making money online

Three Ways to Build a Constant Connection With Your Clients

Buying insurance is one of the most personal purchases that someone will ever make. In order to buy an insurance policy, clients have to give some of their most private and personal information to get a policy, whether it's life insurance or medical insurance. As such, it's important that you create a rapport with your clients so they feel comfortable with you as their agent. Creating a constant connection with them will help achieve that goal. Here are some ways that you can create that connection so your clients won't want to go somewhere else for any of their insurance needs.

Call Forwarding

One part of creating a constant connection is being accessible at any time of the day. You can set your office phone up so that it rings on additional lines when someone calls your office line. You can have it ring on your cell phone, your home phone and other lines throughout the office so you can pick up the call wherever you are. This also gives the impression that you are in the office and the caller doesn't have to know any better unless you tell them. You can also create a system so you can check your emails and faxes on your phone so you will know exactly when these arrive instead of waiting until you check in with your office to get all of your messages.

When You are Unavailable

There will be times when you simply aren't available to answer the phone and talk to clients who call you. In cases such as these, you can have your call forwarding set up so that it rings to another member of your team after 3 or 4 rings. This way you can have the calls answered by an actual person instead of going straight to voicemail which can be frustrating for the caller if this happens.

For example, if you are in a meeting with another client or if you are having a sales meeting with the agents at your office, you can set your phone system up so that the call goes to another member of your team who can answer most of the general questions that come into your office. And if it's someone calling who needs to talk to you, they will be happier that their call is answered by an actual human instead of a machine. It's a great way to make your clients feel like they are wanted and an important part of your business.

Remembering Special Occasions

One part of maintaining constant connections with your employees is letting them know that you care. Keep a record of their birthdays and anniversaries so you can send them a card when those special events roll around. Between the card and the postage, it may cost a couple bucks. But the return you will get on the $2 investment will be huge.

Communication is key for a successful agent. If you aren't communicating with your clients, they are going to find another agent to handle their insurance needs. Don't let this happen to you or else you won't be the successful agent that you want to be.
